‘Teaching Professionals’ - interview with Dr Nigel Wilson - online now!

Internationally awarded author of Teaching Professionals, Dr Nigel Wilson, has recently been interviewed by J Douglas Barker:

Teaching Professionals is available online at the Archway Publishing Bookstore:

In the interview, J Douglas Barker remarks there is a “passion that underscores” the innovative, award-winning book Teaching Professionals.

J Douglas Barker and Nigel discuss how Teaching Professionals:

  • provides techniques to improve literacy and “reimagine teaching” in a world where over 770 million people are illiterate, two-thirds of whom are women.

  • identifies that one of the “hot topics for the world to absorb and understand is culturally sensitive and inclusive teaching”, which requires diversity, access, fairness, consistency, and flexibility.

  • presents the innovative CAISSEP® techniques, which are easy to apply in traditional teaching environments and remote workplaces globally.

  • encourages those who teach, and want to teach, to identify their own passion and interest in teaching, and to develop their own style.

  • reinforces that the “gift of teaching” involves “discovery” learning moments, and that, as we teach and mentor, we share knowledge and learn more about ourselves.
